  • 1-1/2 cup Brown Rice - washed and soaked
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 6 cloves Garlic - finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Spring Onion (Bulb & Greens) - bulbs
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1/4 cup Spring Onion Greens

To begin making Spring bulb greens & Roasted Garlic Brown Rice steps, keep the rice soaked for a minimum of 30 mins. scalding up a pressure cooker with olive cooking oil on medium flame, to this mix in the garlic cloves and char until it turns into a light brown colour. Next mix in in the spring onions bulbs and low-boil until it turns transparent.

This will take only about a minute or two. Next mix in in the table salt, drained brown rice and 2-1/2 cups of aqua and close the pressure cooker. Pressure low-boil for about 4-5 whistles and turn off the flame. Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening the pressure cooker. Once the pressure is released, open  the pressure cooker and fluff the Spring bulb greens & Roasted Garlic Brown Rice  with a fork, mix in in the finely cut up spring onions greens and give it a subtle toss together, without breaking the rice grains. offer Spring bulb greens & Roasted Garlic Brown Rice along with Chicken with buttery Mushroom gravy steps or Spinach Ricotta Balls in Garlic Tomato Basil gravy steps, and a side of wok Roasted Zucchini & Mushroom steps.
