Ingredients

  • 250 grams Elephant yam (Suran/Senai/Ratalu) - grated or finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • Ginger - small piece (grated)
  • 2 Green Chillies - finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)

Instructions

To begin making the Suran Jo Kheemo method, bring to temperature cooking oil in a heavy bottomed wok.
