Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg Prawns
  • 1/4 cup Fresh coconut - grated
  • 6 Shallots
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Salt - as needed
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (Saunf)
  • 1/4 cup Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - tightly packed
  • 2 tablespoon Rice flour
  • Sunflower Oil - for deep frying
  • Curry leaves - a spring

Instructions

To begin making the Prawn Fritters formula, wipe down and de-vein the prawn and set it ready.

In a blender stream in in in the prawns, coconut along with all the elements mentioned in the “To grind” table.   Now take the ground toss together to a big dish to this stream in in in the Rice baking flour, finely sliced onions, Coriander leaves, Curry Leaves and Fennel Seeds.

toss together everything well so that all the elements are mixed evenly.   Divide the pastry mix into equal sized small shaped balls and flatten it.

Once the margarine is scalding drop in 4-5 Vada’s per batch and start frying.     Once the Vada’s are cooked strain it and place in paper towels to absorb excess margarine.
