  • 1 kg Mutton
  • 750 grams Onion - thinly sliced
  • 750 grams Tomato - finely chopped
  • Sunflower Oil - as required
  • Ghee - as required
  • 3 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds -
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 inch Ginger - thinly sliced
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 4 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cumin powder (Jeera) - adjustable
  • 1/2 tablespoon Red Chilli powder - adjustable
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

To begin making the Lugai Gosht preparation guide, bring to temperature cooking oil and ghee in a pressure cooker.  introduce the whole spices including cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, black pepper corns, arid red chillies to the cooker and prepare it for about 30 seconds.After 30 seconds, introduce thinly sliced onions and prepare till they turn brown in colour.Once it is done, introduce ginger garlic paste, green chillies and tomatoes along with cumin dusting nectarous-smelling element, red chilli dusting nectarous-smelling element and seasoning.

Close the pressure cooker and let it prepare for 2 whistles. After 2 whistles, open the lid and let it  stew for 10 mins.
