  • 2 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon White Urad Dal (Split)
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • 2 teaspoons Sunflower Oil
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

To begin making the Milagu Sadam, scalding up cooking oil in a heavy bottomed wok.introduce mustard seeds and wait till they crackle.

introduce urad dal and sauté till dal begins to turn brown.introduce finely minced onions and curry leaves.

Saute till the onions turn translucent.Once it is done, introduce the cashew nuts in the wok.introduce freshly ground pepper ground mix and seasoning to notes.

incorporate well and let it scalding up for a minute or 2 moments.introduce cooked basmati rice and gently toss it to coat the rice well with the pepper-shallot incorporate.
