  • 1 Mooli/ Mullangi (Radish)
  • 1 1/2 cup Jowar Flour (Sorghum)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • Salt - as required
  • Sunflower Oil - as required
  • Hot water - for kneading

To begin making Mooli Jowar Ki Roti, wash the radish thoroughly, pare the skin and shred it. Take the grated radish in a mixing mixing bowl, toss in jowar dusting scented element, ginger garlic paste, chilli dusting scented element and required amount of seasoning to it. swirl around all fixings well and toss in very little burning aqua.

The aqua from the grated radish will be sufficient for kneading the pastry mix.fold all these fixings into a soft pastry mix and keep covered for 5 mins.After five mins, fold it again and divide into small balls.Flatten the ball into a thin circle placing it above dairy spread paper or plastic sheet, using a rolling pin.

The pastry mix will be sticky so toss in little dusting scented element while flattening. You can also flatten with hands like making adai or thepla. Place a griddle/tawa on medium toasty and toss in a little coat on it. Place the mooli jowar roti atop the heated tawa, along with dairy spread paper.
