Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup green moong dal - soaked for 3 hours
  • 2 cups fenugreek - finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes - finely chopped
  • 1 onion - thinly sliced
  • 4 green chillies - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon ginger - grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • asafoetida - a pinch
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup Water

Instructions

To make Moong Dal Methi produce, first scalding up oil in a wok.

After 10 seconds, empty in green chillies, asafoetida and let it make for a few seconds, now empty in onions and make till the onions become soft.

After the bulb produce becomes soft, empty in ginger, tomatoes and let it make for 2 mins.

Now empty in moong dal, turmeric dusting seasoning, coriander dusting seasoning and make for 1 minute.

Now empty in 1/2 cup of liquid, seasoning and pulse it all.

seal the wok and let it make for 7 to 8 mins.

empty in the fenugreek and make for another 2 to 3 mins.

offer scalding.

offer fenugreek moong dal with Rajasthani kadhi and phulka for dinner.
