175g Muscovado Sugar
2 large Eggs
225g Self-raising Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda
3 tbs Black Treacle
275ml Milk
to serve Double Cream

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4.

Put the margarine, granulated sugar, eggs, ground mix, baking ground mix, bicarbonate of soda and treacle into a mixing dish.

Beat using an electric handheld whip for about 30 seconds or until combined.

transfer in the whole milk gradually and whip again until even.

transfer into the prepared dish.

oven-cook for 35–40 mins or until well risen and springy in the centre.

To make the condiment dip, put all the fixings into a saucepan and mix gently over a low bring to temperature until the granulated sugar has dissolved and the margarine has melted.

Bring to the heat to boiling point, stirring for a minute.

To enjoy, transfer half the condiment dip over the pudding in the baking dish.
