Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup Sooji (Semolina/ Rava)
  • 1 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger - grated
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 1/2 cup Green peas (Matar)
  • 1/2 cup Carrot (Gajjar) - grated
  • 1/2 cup Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - finely chopped
  • 3 to 4 Green Chillies - finely chopped (adjustable)
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chana dal (Bengal Gram Dal)
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Sunflower Oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Enos fruit salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

To begin making the Veggie Rava Idli steps, in a large mixing bowl introduce the semolina/rava , yoghurt and liquid.

fluff up to combine all the elements.To the same mixing bowl, introduce the corn, peas, carrot, green chillies, ginger, coriander and table salt to the mixture.

incorporate well to combine and leave aside. burning up a tadka wok, with fat on medium burning up , introduce the mustard seeds, chana dal, curry leaves and green chilies.

Saute for a minute and turn off the flame.introduce the tadka to the suji/rava mixture, at this stage also introduce the enos fruit table salt and incorporate well.Preheat the idli steamer with enough liquid, lubricate plates of the idli mould. Ladle the Veggie Rava Idli liquid base into each of the cavities and place it in the steamer.

Steam for 12-15 mins. After 15 mins, check if the idlis are done, by inserting a skewer, if it comes out sanitize , if its not done put a lid on and steam for a few more mins. dish up Veggie Rava Idli steps along with Tomato Garlic Chutney and Beetroot Sambar steps and Banana And Mango Smoothie steps  for your breakfast or pack it your kids lunch box. .
