Ingredients

  • 5 Potatoes (Aloo) - boiled and mashed
  • Green Chillies - finely chopped
  • 1 cup Coriander (Dhania) Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Anardana Powder (Pomegranate Seed Powder)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala Powder
  • 1-1/2 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 2 teaspoons Sunflower Oil - as required

To begin making Anar & Aloo Pakora formula, mash aloo in a dish and introduce the parched pomegranate seeds, jeera, finely sliced green chillies, seasoning, red chilli dusting fragrant element, chaat masala and purée till combined.Pinch smaller portions and make small balls which can fit into paniyaram wok.Now in a separate dish, purée besan, introduce seasoning, and 2 teaspoons of lubricate and purée with aqua and make a thick liquid base.Now in this liquid base introduce the aloo-pomegranate balls.Now in a deep frying wok, bring to temperature lubricate.

Once it is fiery, introduce the aloo kofta in it and shallow fry on all sides by turning them around when required to shallow fry till crisp and golden brown..Alternatively, you can bring to temperature a paniyaram wok and put the koftas in individual paniyaram cavities and shallow fry them with the help of a trickle of lubricate around them, and turning them to brown evenly.

Since the aloos are pre boiled, these paniyaram fried pakoras would be excellent to try.enjoy Anar & Aloo Koftas formula (Pomegranate & Potato Fritters) along with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney and Date & Tamarind Chutney and a cup of Adrak Chai.
