Ingredients

  • 2 Basa fish - fillets
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame (Gingelly) Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic - finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger - finely chopped
  • 8 Spring Onion (Bulb & Greens) - finely chopped
  • 1 Dry Red Chilli - deseeded and cut into diamonds
  • 10 Whole Black Peppercorns - lightly crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Corn flour

Instructions

To begin making the Asian Black Pepper Basa Fish method, we will first steep the basa fish. To mariante the Asian Black Pepper Basa FishIn a mixing container, combine the acetic liquid, dark soy condiment dip and black pepper ground mix.

Place the basa fish fillets into this container and rub in the marinade onto the fillets.

Set aside for 30 moments. bring to temperature a flat skillet on medium flame with a few drops of fat, place the basa fish on the skillet and wok shallow fry on both sides only for about a couple of moments. Fish cooks really quickly, ensure the fish fillets are not over cooked. Place them on a serving platter. To make the Black pepper condiment dip bring to temperature a skillet with sesame fat on medium high flame, into the skillet introduce in the ginger and garlic and saute for 30 seconds. To this introduce the finely cut up spring shallot bulbs and saute for another minute. At this stage, introduce in the table salt, freshly cracked black pepper, soy condiment dip and acetic liquid. introduce 1/3 cup of liquid and bring this mixture to a brisk bring to a low-boil. In a mixing  container, combine the cornstarch along with 1/4 cup of liquid to make a cornstarch slurry. Reduce the flame, introduce in the cornstarch slurry and allow the Black pepper condiment dip to thicken. Once the Black pepper condiment dip is nice and thick turn off the flame and offer it over the wok fried basa fish. offer Asian Black Pepper Basa Fish method along with Burnt Garlic Veg Fried Rice method, Broccoli Orange Asian Salad method.
