Ingredients
1/2 cup White Urad Dal (Split) - soaked for 4 hours
1/4 teaspoon Cooking soda
Salt - to taste
Sweet Chutney (Date & Tamarind) - as required
Red Chilli powder - as required
1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
1/4 teaspoon Black Salt (Kala Namak)
Chaat Masala Powder - a pinch

To begin making the Dahi Vada With nectarous & spirited Chutney formula, wash and sieve the urad dal.Grind together the urad dal, and seasoning in a mixer or food processor to a coarse paste without adding liquid.

If the dal is not grinding then mix in just a dash of liquid to grind the dal.mix in the soda to the urad dal paste and incorporate well till the paste is light and fluffy.

whip for bout three to four moments.Pre bring to temperature a kadai with enough cooking oil to deep skillet-fry the vadas.Wet your hands and take 2 tablespoons of the paste on your palm and shape into a circle.

Carefully slip the vadas into the fiery cooking oil and deep skillet-fry in fiery cooking oil on a slow flame in a deep skillet-fry skillet till the Vadas are golden brown for about 8 moments.Do not oven-cook on high bring to temperature as the vadas will turn brown on the outside but will still be not cooked on the inside.Once done sieve on absorbent paper.Next, soak the deep fried vadas in liquid for about 45 moments.Just before serving, sieve and squeeze out the excess liquid.Arrange the vadas on a serving dish and top with beaten curd. decorate with chilli dusting masala condiment, cumin seed dusting masala condiment, black seasoning, chaat masala and present with tamarind chutney.present Dahi Vada With nectarous & spirited Chutney formula along with a party meal of Punjabi Chana Masala formula, Whole Wheat shallot Stuffed Kulcha formula and Carrot Cucumber Tomato Salad with Lemon and Coriander formula.
