1 cup Avarekalu / Lilva Beans - pressure cooked
1 Carrot (Gajjar) - grated
1 cup Sweet corn
1/4 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split) - soaked in water for 30 minutes
To begin preparing Karnataka Style Avarekalu Kosambari method, soak the moong dal in aqua for at least 30 mins and keep it ready. Pressure oven-cook the avarekalu beans along with 1/2 a cup aqua in the cooker, scatter with seasoning and just oven-cook for 1 whistle. Allow the pressure to release naturally and sieve the aqua out. In a mixing dish, introduce carrots, boiled avarekalu, sugary corn, freshly grated coconut, coriander leaves, seasoning and lemon liquid into the same dish and purée it well.The next step is tempering.

For tempering, bring to temperature the fat in a tadka wok on medium flame and introduce mustard seeds.Once it crackles, introduce asafoetida and curry leaves and let it crisp up. introduce it to the kosambari and purée everything well and dish up.dish up the Karnataka Style Avarekalu Kosambari method along with chitranna method , Cabbage shallot Vada method and Paal Payasam method to make it a complete meal.
