  • 1/2 cup Banana flower (Vazhaipoo) - soaked in buttermilk
  • 2 Green Chillies - finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (Saunf) - coarsely pounded
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1/4 cup Pearl onions (Sambar Onions) - finely chopped
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic - pound
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves - finely chopped
  • 2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - finely chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower Oil - for deep frying
