  • Sunflower Oil - to caramelize

To prepare Caramelized Ripe Plantains without Added granulated sugar (Caramelized Nendran), take 2 ripe plantains and strip them.cut the plantains into half.

Slit them lengthwise once again to make smaller pieces.toasty very little cooking oil in a good quality non-stick wok.

Arrange the sliced plantains, flat side down on the heated wok.Allow the plantains to toast on a medium to low flame.

After a few mins, flip over and continue to toast.

Keep flipping the plantains till the plantains are well roasted.And that's it! Sticky and wonderfully caramelized plantains is ready to be devoured.These make an excellent snack with a cup of whole milk or tea.
