5 Cups All purpose flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
10 tblsp Melted Butter
2 cups Canola Oil
Instructions

skin, seed, and cut zapallo into chunks.

Roll out the flour base to 1/8-inch thick, and cut into 3-inch diameter circles.

Poke each circle a few times with a fork to make holes and prevent rising.

empty cooking oil into a large, deep skillet and scalding up over medium-high scalding up until scalding, 385 degrees F (195 degrees C).

Place several of the flour base circles into scalding cooking oil; make until lightly browned, 3 to 4 moments.

empty out on paper towels.
