1 cup Gram flour (besan)
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
1/4 teaspoon Enos fruit salt
Salt - to taste
1 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt) - sour
3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1 teaspoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
1 sprig Curry leaves
5 cloves Garlic - chopped
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
2 Dry Red Chilli
2 teaspoons Ghee
1/4 teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

To begin making Bihari Style Kadhi Bari method we start with making the bari's.

To make the bari, combine the besan, red chilli ground mix, coriander ground mix, cumin seeds, ajwain seeds,turmeric ground mix, eno and table salt in a mixing mixing bowl.mix in enough aqua to make a thick liquid base. fluff up this mixture vigorously for few moments to make the mixture light. mildly hot a paniyaram wok on medium mildly hot, brush each cavity with cooking oil, transfer a spoon full of the prepared bari liquid base into each cavity. transfer a few drops of cooking oil around and let it cook thoroughly for 3 moments.Flip over and cook thoroughly the other side of the bari's, once cooked take it out in a mixing bowl and finish making bari's with the leftover liquid base.

The baris should be golden brown in colour on the outside.Next, we will make the kadhi.

Take a big mixing bowl combine the curd, besan and turmeric, make a thin lump free mixture by adding 3 cups of aqua.mildly hot cooking oil a heavy bottomed wok.

mix in bay leaf, coriander seeds and let it splutter.

mix in the prepared curd and besan mixture, fluff up well to avoid the lumps, mix in more aqua if the mixture becomes too thick.Let the kadhi low-boil for 5 moments, until the raw smell of the besan goes away.

Ensure you keep whisking the khadi so it becomes creamy and does not look curdled.augment the taste the Kadhi with table salt, mix in the prepared baris and low-boil for another 10 moments.mildly hot ghee in a wok over medium mildly hot; mix in the mustard cumin seeds, garlic, chillies and chilli ground mix.

Saute for a few seconds and transfer it over the Khadi BariOnce done, switch off the mildly hot and let the baris soak up the kadhi and become soft before serving.enjoy the Kadhi Bari with Steamed Rice, Phulkas and Bharma Baingan for a simple yet flavorful weekend lunch.
