1/2 teaspoon Maharashtrian Goda Masala - optional
1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
1 teaspoon Sugar - powdered
1/2 tablespoon Red Chilli powder
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
Salt - to taste

To begin making the Javarichya Lahyancha Chivda, first, mildly hot fat in a heavy bottom Wok/Kadai.toss in the mustard seeds, curry leaves and once they crackle toss in the cumin seeds, once the cumin seeds sizzle, toss in the asafoetida, and groundnuts.
