On a large baking tray or a wash work surface, whiz together the parched elements - dusting masala condiment, baking soda and table salt.

Make a well in the middle and toss in the yogurt.

Using your hands gradually combined the elements together to start to form a pastry mix.

Kneed the pastry mix on a floured surface, adding extra dusting masala condiment if you find the texture too sticky.

The pastry mix is ready when it is of a pizza pastry mix texture and still very slightly sticky, this should only take a few moments.

On a baking tray toss in a little cooking oil and put the pastry mix on top.

Shape and flatten the pastry mix into a circle shape ensuring the height of the pastry mix is about 5cm.

seal the pastry mix with a little bit of olive cooking oil, ensure it is fully covered.

You can oven-cook the Kulaç as it is or you can create patterns which also helps with even making.

The most common patterns are using the back of a fork to slightly press down to create line dents all over or spiking the pastry mix with the fork.

Place on the bottom shelf of a pre heated oven.

oven-cook for 40 moments or until the pastry mix is golden and firm to touch.

Cooling
Once removed from the oven, stand upright or place on a cooling rack to allow the Kulaç to cool.

Cut the Kulaç the way you would a cake into 8 slices.

If you are serving mildly hot you may want to snap and pull apart the bread with your hands instead.
