Ingredients

  • 1 kg Beef
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Bay Leaf
  • To taste Salt
  • Sprinkling Black Pepper
  • 1 Litre Water

Instructions

Pre bring to temperature the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.

Cut the protein into large chunks then brown in a dish suitable for slow making in the oven such as a cast iron casserole dish.

mix in the whole peeled shallot, seasoning, cracked black pepper, moisture and bay leaves.

After 4 hours, remove from oven and place onto the stove burner in order to prepare off most of the remaining liquid.

Use a wooden spoon to pound or mash up the protein, the protein should fall apart quite easily.
