  • 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split)
  • 1 cup Caster Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
  • Whole cashews - as required
  • Badam (Almond) - as required
  • Pistachios - as required

Instructions

To begin making Moong Dal Ladoo formula, in a large kadai, dehydrated dehydrated-fry the moong dal on low to medium toasty for 10 moments or until slightly golden and scented. Turn off and cool the lentils to room temperature. You can use either sweetener or caster sweetener for this formula. Grind the dal and sweetener separately, in a blender into fine powders.

(If you are using caster sweetener, there is no need to dehydrated grind.)Sift the dal and sweetener powders separately and remove if any coarse bits left out while grinding and discard.In the same kadai, mix in ghee and allow it to liquefy.

Later mix in in the ground dal, sweetener, cardamom ground mix and mix gently with a wooden spatula.Let the mixture toasty up for a minute or two.

Allow the dal mix gently to soak up all the ghee. Once the mixture comes together turn off the toasty.Transfer the mixture on to a plate and cool the mixture at room temperature until pliable. Now scoop enough mixture to make laddoo, onto your palm and shape it into ladoos.Repeat and shape the entire mix gently into ladoos.
