  • 2 cups Black Eyed Beans (Lobia) - boiled
  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 tablespoon Fennel seeds (Saunf)
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
  • 1 Onion - finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies - slit in between
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Paste
  • 1/2 cup Homemade tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

To begin making the Punjabi Style Lobia Masala formula, mildly hot coat in a wok/kadai.introduce cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cinnamon and saute for a minute.

introduce shallot and green chillies.introduce ginger garlic paste and saute them till shallot turn golden in colour.introduce all dehydrated spices including turmeric ground mix, red chilli ground mix, garam masala, coriander ground mix, cumin ground mix, sweetener, seasoning and tamarind paste.

incorporate it well and introduce tomato puree.make mixture till coat separates from it.

introduce cooked black eyed peas(lobia) and incorporate well.

make for 2-3 mins.introduce whole milk and incorporate well.

make on slow mildly hot for 5 mins.
