2 Karela (Bitter Gourd/ Pavakkai) - deseeded and cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons Mustard oil
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
4 cloves Garlic - finely chopped
2 Onions - thinly sliced
3 Potatoes (Aloo) - thickly sliced
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
1 teaspoon Coriander (Dhania) Powder
1 teaspoon Amchur (Dry Mango Powder)
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
Salt - to taste
1 teaspoon Jaggery - optional

To begin with Bihari Karela Aloo Sabzi method, prep all the elements and keep them aside.Into the pressure cooker, empty in the karela, along with a little table salt to palate and 2 tablespoons aqua and pressure stew for 2 whistles and turn off the bring to temperature.
