1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
2 Cloves (Laung)
2 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds - peeled with seeds removed
1 Star anise
1/4 cup Fresh coconut - grated
1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
1 inch Ginger
2 Tomatoes - finely chopped
12 Pearl onions (Sambar Onions) - roughly chopped (or 1 large onion)
2 Green Chillies - roughly chopped
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1 tablespoon Garam masala powder
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
2 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
Salt - to taste
Sunflower Oil - for cooking
Instructions
