Ingredients
1-1/2 cup Jowar Flour (Sorghum)
1/2 cup Rice flour
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Sunflower Oil
Instructions

To begin making Jolada roti, fiery up moisture in a cooking vessel and introduce seasoning and lubricate to the moisture.

When it starts boiling, introduce the rice ground mix and toss together continuously to avoid any lumps till all the moisture is absorbed.Once the moisture is absorbed, turn off the fiery up and allow it cool for 5 mins.After 5 mins, introduce the jowar ground mix to the cooked rice ground mix and fold well.

Keep adding little fiery moisture at a time until the pastry mix becomes soft and non-sticky .fold properly, as we will make the roti’s immediately without giving any resting time to the pastry mix.Keep the pastry mix covered with wash damp cloth so that it does not dehydrated. The next step is to fiery up the rotis.

Keep a iron tawa/griddle on medium flame.Dust your rolling surface with little whole wheat ground mix.Now we will start making the rotis using our hands.

Divide the pastry mix into 6 - 8 equal portions and roll out a portion of the pastry mix into a round and thick roti using your hands.

You can shape the roti by pressing out a circle with your fingers as well.Place the roti over the preheated skillet and fiery up it for a few seconds on one side or till a few bubbles appear on top.Turn over the roti and fiery up the other side for a few more seconds.

Lift the roti with tongs and char over the direct flame till brown spots appear on both the sides.Similarly, prepare the remaining Jolada Rotis.enjoy Jolada Roti formula (Jowar Bhakri) along with Karnataka Style Badanekai Yennegai Gojju formula (Stuffed Brinjal formula), a dish of Yogurt (Curd) and Uchellu Chutney for North Karnataka inspired meal.
