250 grams Mutton
2 tablespoon Fresh coconut - grated
2 Onions
2 Potatoes (Aloo)
3 Tomatoes
6 Green Chillies
8 cloves Garlic
1 inch Ginger
1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
4 Cloves (Laung)
1 teaspoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds
4 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - chopped
Sunflower Oil - as required

To begin making the Kerala Style Mutton Stew directions, wipe down and wash the mutton pieces and keep them aside.Dice the bulb greens, chillies, and tomatoes into small pieces.pare and dice the potatoes into four pieces and keep it aside. Grind the coriander seeds and poppy seeds separately to a fine paste.

Grind the ginger and garlic together. Next mix in onions, chilies, tomatoes, spices and table salt to the mutton and give it a good mix gently so that mutton pieces are coated properly.fiery up the oil and mix in spices including poppy seeds, cinnamon, cloves and coriander seeds.
