Ingredients

  • 1 cup White Urad Dal (Split) - soaked for 30 minutes
  • 2 cups Sooji (Semolina/ Rava) - (idli rava)
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • Salt - to taste
  • 2 sprig Curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard seeds
  • Sunflower Oil - for the tadka

To begin making Phanna Doddak method, wash and soak the split urad dal for 30 moments.After half an hour introduce the urad dal to a mixer grinder and grind the soaked urad dal along with green chillies and ginger to a velvety paste with just enough aqua.Take the urad dal mixture into a big mixing bowl, introduce the rice semolina to this and swirl around well.masala condiment with seasoning and introduce aqua to make a thick dosa paste.To prepare the Phanna Doddak, bring to temperature a skillet on medium bring to temperature.introduce a teaspoon of oil, mustard seeds and few curry leaves and let it splutter.stream in a ladle of the prepared paste over the tadka without spreading it much and let it make for 2 moments.Flip over and make on the other side for another 2 moments and remove Phanna Doddak into a serving plate.Likewise, prepare the rest of the dosas.present the Phanna Doddak method along with Coconut Chutney or Tomato Gotsu method (citrusy & puckerish Tomato curry base) and fiery filter coffee for the breakfast or pack for kids lunch box.
