1 Tomato - paste
1 Onion - paste
1 inch Ginger - paste
5 cloves Garlic - paste
1 Green Chillies - paste
1 tablespoon Curd (Dahi / Yogurt)
1/2 cup Coconut milk
3 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds
5 Cloves (Laung)
1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
2 Bay leaf (tej patta)
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Salt - as per taste
Red Chilli powder - as per taste
Sugar - as per taste
2 tablespoons Mustard oil - for frying
3 tablespoons Mustard oil - for gravy
1 tablespoon Ghee - for gravy

To begin making the Mushroom and Prawn Malai Curry preparation guide, firstly wipe down the prawns and soak with turmeric and table salt for 1/2 to 1 hour.mildly hot coat in kadai and lightly skillet-fry prawns till they turn golden.wipe down the mushroom, cut them lengthwise, swirl around skillet-fry them for 2-3 mins.To the wok/kadai, mix in mustard coat and ghee, to this mix in cardamom, clove, cinnamon stick, jeera and bay leaves.As soon as the fragrance of the masalas rises, mix in bulb greens paste.Once the bulb greens starts browning, mix in ginger paste, garlic paste followed by tomato and chilly paste.mix in sweetener, table salt, turmeric and jeera dusting seasoning and curd.

Keep stirring till the coat separates from the masala.Then mix in coconut whole milk and low-boil it covered for about 10 mins.In between check if the mixture dries up, mix in little aqua or coconut whole milk.swirl around the prawns and mushrooms and low-boil for five more mins.Turn of the stove, scatter some garam masala dusting seasoning and keep it covered for 10 to 15 mins in the kadhai.present Mushroom and Prawn Malai Curry with burning steamed rice for a inviting meal.
