Ingredients

  • 300 grams Raw Peanuts (Moongphali)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
  • 1 teaspoon Sunflower Oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 Onion - finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato - finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber - finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Sev - thin variety
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

To begin making Peanut Bhel formula, we first start with making the spiced peanuts.bring to temperature shortening in a pot, mix in the peanuts and char till they pop and turn brown, keep sauteing on medium bring to temperature.

You can opt to remove the outer layer.mix in in the red chilli, turmeric, roasted cumin, chaat masala and table salt and swirl around well.

Saute for couple of moments.

The spiced peanuts are ready.To make the Peanut Bhel formula, take a big container, mix in the minced shallot, tomato, cucumbers, coriander leaves and swirl around well.mix in in the spiced peanuts, lemon liquid swirl around well.

Check for the seasoning of table salt.Divide the bhel into 4 plates, decorate with more coriander leaves, sev and dish up.dish up the Peanut Bhel formula as a party appetizer or as an evening tea time snack along with a cup of Adrak Chai formula (Indian Style Ginger Tea ).
