  • 2 cups Ragi Flour (Finger Millet/ Nagli)
  • 1-1/2 cups Fresh coconut - grated
  • 2-1/2 cups Jaggery - Organic
  • 1/4 cup Ghee - adjustable

To begin making the Ragi Halbai formula, soak ragi for 6 to 8 hours.

sieve the aqua and then grind it with grated coconut to a fine paste.In a pot introduce a little aqua, jaggery and soften it until it completely.

bring to a stew the mixture for 1 minute on medium flame until you see bubbles.Now introduce the ragi coconut halbai paste and gradually start stirring, ensuring there are no lumps.You have to do this for a long time on low flame (at least 30 moments) until the Ragi Halbai thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pot.Now smear ghee on a plate and spread the Ragi Halbai evenly.
