1/4 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split) - husken and green gram
1 inch Ginger - peeled and grated or finely chopped
3-4 Whole Black Peppercorns - coarsely powdered
3-4 Green Chilli - roughly chopped
1 sprig Curry leaves - roughly chopped
