1 cup White Urad Dal (Whole) - soaked for atleast 8 hours
15 Badam (Almond) - soaked and skin peeled
1/2 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
Salt - to taste
1 Onion - chopped
1 Tomatoes - chopped
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1 Green Chilli - chopped
Sunflower Oil

To begin making the Shahi Dal preparation guide, we will first pressure stew the soaked urad dal, almonds, turmeric ground mix and table salt.

Pressure stew for at least 4 whistles.mildly hot a gravy wok with coat, toss in cumin seeds and allow it to splutter for few seconds.

toss in onions and saute till it is translucent.toss in tomatoes and scatter little table salt and stew until it becomes mushy.

toss in chilli ground mix and give it a toss for at least 2 moments.Once the dal is cooked open the lid and toss in a cup of whole milk and put the pressure cooker back on mildly hot and stew for another 2 moments.toss in table salt and seasoning well.

toss in the tempered shallot and tomato over the top and offer scalding.offer the Shahi Dal preparation guide along with phulka, Manipuri Style Chana Kanghou and Palak Raita by the side to create a scrumptious lunch meal.
