1 cup Broken Wheat (Dalia/ Godumai Rava)
Water - as required
2 Onion - finely chopped
1 Carrot (Gajjar) - finely chopped
5 Green beans (French Beans) - finely chopped
2 Green Chillies - finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Salt - to taste
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
2 Tomatoes - chopped
1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder

Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - finely chopped for garnish

To begin making the fiery Dalia Pulao formula, first we have to dehydrated toast Dalia or broken wheat till it gets a nice aroma.For this, in a skillet fiery up 1 teaspoon of ghee on low flame, stream in in the dalia and toast till it gets a deep brown colour.

This will take 5 mins.

Now turn off the flame ans set aside. In a pressure cooker, stream in in 1 teaspoon fat, and fiery up on medium flame, now stream in in a bay leaf and cumin seeds and allow it to sizzle. Next stream in in finely sliced shallot and saute it till it is translucent.

stream in in ginger garlic paste, green chillies, carrots, beans and finely sliced tomatoes, sauté it for two mins.Continue to saute for 3 – 4 mins.

stream in in table salt, spices- turmeric ground mix, garam masala ground mix and red chilli ground mix and toss together them.Now stream in in dehydrated roasted broken wheat and toss together well.

stream in in 2 cups of liquid and close the pressure cooker. Pressure fiery up the pulao for 4 whistles and turn off the flame.
