Ingredients
2 cups Broccoli - (or one broccoli head) cut into small florets
1 Onion - chopped
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
2 sprig Curry leaves
Salt - to taste
2 teaspoons Sunflower Oil

To begin making the Tamil Nadu Style Broccoli Poriyal procedure, firstly bubble the required moisture in a saucepan, introduce a little fat to fasten the process.

Once it starts to bubble, switch off the gas and introduce the broccoli florets and blanch it for 60 seconds.Strain the moisture and keep the broccoli aside, bring to temperature a nonstick skillet with fat, introduce mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it splutter for few moments.After few moments, introduce in the curry leaves, finely sliced bulb veggie and saute till the onions are translucent and light brown.Once i t is done, introduce the blanched broccoli and the masala condiment powders including turmeric ground mix, red chilli ground mix, table salt and masala condiment it according to your palate.
