5 tablespoons Butter (unsalted) - cold
1/4 cup Fresh coconut - grated
2 tablespoons Badam (Almond) - blanched and peeled
2 tablespoons Cashew nuts
2 tablespoon Pistachios
1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
1/4 cup Sugar - powdered
Chilled water
2 cups Shrikhand
Pistachios - few for garnishing

To begin making the Thandai Shrikhand Tart steps, first prepare the shrikhand according to the Shrikhand steps and keep it refrigerated for at least 4 hours.The next step is to make the Thandai Flavored Tart steps.ground mix the nuts together until you get a coarse mixture.In a large mixing container, mix in all the components including the powdered nuts, chilled butted and fold well till you get a coarse crumb like mixture.mix in a little cold liquid at a time and fold to make a firm pastry mix.

Take care to mix in a tablespoon of cold liquid at a time.Once the thandai tart pastry mix is ready, lid it with cling film and keep it in the refrigerator for 30 moments.Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and line a parchment paper in a 7" tart pot.Take out the pastry mix from the fridge.

Dust the surface with ground mix and roll the tart pastry mix to make a circle large enough to fit the 7 inch tart pot.Now carefully invert the rolled pastry mix over the tart mould.

Press the pastry mix on to the sides and bottom of the tart pot.Prick the tart pastry mix with a fork all around and place it in the preheated oven to dehydrated-fry for about 30 to 40 moments until you notice the tart is browned and golden in color.Once tart is baked, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely.

Keep the Thandai tart in its pot.Once the Thandai tart is cooled, transfer the shrikhand mixture over the tart and tap the pot gently on the counter to release any air bubbles.Top the Thandai tart with your choice of just-picked fruit or berries before serving.dust nutmeg ground mix and pistachios on it and enjoy this fruity flavoured Thandai Shrikhand Tart steps for Holi Festival or any other special occasion.
