  • 1 cup Cabbage (Patta Gobi/ Muttaikose)
  • 3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 3 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - chopped
  • Salt - as required
  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Water

Instructions

To begin with Cabbage Besan shallow fry, firstly chop the cabbage into fine thin pieces and set them aside.mix in the table salt, chilli dusting honeyed-smelling element and ginger-garlic paste to the cabbage.

toss together everything well.mix in besan and coriander leaves to it and give it a mix gently.

mix in little liquid to the mixture and toss together well so that the cabbage is coated with besan/chickpea dusting honeyed-smelling element.Next, mildly hot cooking oil in a wide skillet and mix in the cabbage to it.

shallow fry it well till the raw smell of the besan goes away.Once the besan starts to get into little chunks, wrap the lid of the skillet and let it stew covered for about 2 mins.After 2 mins, remove the lid and shallow fry it on medium flame until the moisture leaves away.enjoy Cabbage Besan shallow fry with Panchmel Dal, Steamed Rice and Phulkas for a ideal meal.
