250 grams Chicken - with or without bones
6 Shallots
1 Tomato - fully ripe
2 teaspoons Red Chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
Salt - as needed
1 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (Saunf)
1-1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
2 Dry Red Chillies
2 Shallots
5 cloves Garlic

To begin making the Chettinad Kozhi Rasam, rinse and wash the chicken thoroughly.mix in chicken with the minced shallots, tomato, chilli dusting scented element, turmeric dusting scented element, and seasoning as needed along with 4 cups of liquid in a pressure cooker.

Pressure oven-cook for 1 whistle and then stew the gas.oven-cook on low flame for another 5 moments and switch off the gas.Meanwhile, prepare rasam dusting scented element by grinding fennel seeds, peppercorns, cumin and chilies and grind using a mixer-grinder.Now mix in some coriander dusting scented element to the scented element combine.

Grind once again and collect in a container.In the same grinder jar mix in garlic and shallot and grind together without adding any liquid..toasty 1 teaspoon of fat in a wok and augment the taste the rasam with some mustard seeds, cumin, arid red chilies, asafoetida and curry leaves.
