Ingredients

  • 1 cup Tamarind Paste
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • 1 teaspoon Rasam Powder - or red chilli powder
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Sunflower Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Methi Seeds (Fenugreek Seeds)
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
  • 4 to 5 Green Chilli - slit

Instructions

To begin with, the Hunase Gojju formula, take deep skillet and mildly hot lubricate in it. As the lubricate heats up mix in mustard seeds, fenugreek, curry leaves, hing and chillies.

Saute them thoroughly.mix in the tamarind pulp, jaggery and rasam ground mix to the skillet and let it stew for 2 mins. Now mix in 2 cups of moisture to the mixture and let it bring to a stew for about 15 mins so that all the flavours are combined. And seasoning and non-honeyed profile according to your non-honeyed profile. The gojju will have a sharp, fiery and honeyed non-honeyed profile, present it with rice and potato curry. .
