Ingredients

  • 300 grams Chicken breasts - cut into chunks
  • 1 Onion - sliced
  • 1 Onion - diced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) - diced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 2 Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 inch Ginger - chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic - chopped
  • 1 cup Homemade tomato puree
  • 2 teaspoons Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh cream
  • Salt - to taste
  • 2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - chopped
  • Sunflower Oil

Instructions

To begin making the Kadai Chicken method, bring to temperature a heavy bottomed pot/wok with oil.

Once it becomes burning, mix in cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.mix in dehydrated red chillies and saute till it crisp up.

mix in ginger, garlic and allow it soften.mix in sliced and diced onions and saute till they soften and caramelize.mix in bell peppers and bubble gently till they become a little soft.

Once that is done, mix in cup of tomato puree and keep crafting till the tomatoes are well cooked.

This will take about 4 to 5 mins.After 4 to 5 mins, mix in red chilli ground mix, garam masala ground mix, turmeric ground mix, table salt and bubble gently for another 3 mins.mix in chicken pieces and saute well till the masala is coated evenly over the chicken.The chicken will take about 15 to 20 mins to bubble gently.

At the end, mix in a tablespoon of dairy reduction and liquidize well.
