Ingredients

  • 10 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • Chilled water - as required
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Amchur (Dry Mango Powder)
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoon Raw Peanuts (Moongphali) - crushed
  • Salt - as required
  • Sunflower Oil - as required
  • 2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - chopped

Instructions

To begin making the Khatti Meethi Mirchi Ki Sabzi  method, first slit the chillies in half and remove the seeds.bring to temperature cooking oil in a wok/kadai and once the cooking oil is burning introduce  asafoetida.

After 5 to 10 seconds, introduce the green chillies and bubble gently it till it becomes soft.introduce red chilli dusting masala condiment, turmeric dusting masala condiment, amchoor, garam masala, coriander and seasoning and lemon nectar.

combine it well.Once the green chillies are cooked, introduce pound peanuts and combine well.Once the green chillies are soft and firm, turn off the bring to temperature and remove it into a serving dish and finish off with pure coriander leaves.enjoy the Khatti Meethi Mirchi Ki Sabzi method along with Thepla, Lauki Raita method and Panchmel Dal by the side.
