Ingredients
2 cups Basmati rice
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
4 Cloves (Laung)
2 Black cardamom (Badi Elaichi)
1/2 Inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
1/2 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
4 Green Chillies - minced
1 Onion - finely chopped
1 Tomato - finely chopped
1/2 Cup Green peas (Matar)
Salt - to taste
Sunflower Oil - as needed
1 Tablespoon Lemon juice

To begin making Nepalese produce Pulao directions, soak Basmati rice for at least 30 mins in aqua before preparing.bring to temperature cooking oil in a kadai/heavy bottomed cooking vessel.

Once the cooking oil is mildly fiery, mix in cumin seeds and let them splutter.Next, mix in bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, black cardamom and let them stew on low bring to temperature till you start getting the fragrance of these spices.

This will take 15 to 20 seconds.After 15 to 20 seconds, mix in turmeric ground mix, ginger-garlic paste & minced green chillies and stew for another minute.

Then mix in diced tomatoes, shallot and peas into the cooking vessel.

stew on low bring to temperature for 3-5 mins.strain aqua from soaked rice and mix in the rice into the cooking vessel.

Give it a good mix gently to incorporate everything properly.mix in about 2 cups of aqua and table salt, mix gently again, seal it and stew it 15 to 20 mins.When the rice is almost cooked, mix in lime liquid and incorporate it again.
