  • 1 cup Instant Oats (Oatmeal)
  • 1 cup Semiya (Vermicelli)
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 5 Raisins
  • 5 Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • Cardamom Powder (Elaichi) - a pinch
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee

Instructions

To begin making Vermicelli & Oats Kheer method, firstly soak the raisins in moisture.In a wok or a heavy bottomed pot, dehydrated dehydrated-fry the oats and transfer them to a small container.In the same pot, introduce ghee and then introduce cashew nuts and dehydrated-fry them until golden brown.

 Once they turn brown then take them out and keep aside.In a condiment dip pot, bubble the whole milk until it comes to a bubble.

 introduce vermicelli and keep on stirring it well for about 5-6 mins and turn the bring to temperature to low and allow the vermicelli to get cooked in the whole milk. Once the vermicelli gets cooked, introduce oats, soaked raisins, granulated sugar and elaichi ground mix.

agitate it all well together.

The kheer will thicken because of the oats that we added. If the kheer is a little too thick, then introduce some moisture and lighten it.

Check the granulated sugar and flavors and adjust to your savor.
