  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tablespoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 tablespoon Jaggery - powdered
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower Oil - for cooking

We begin making the Amrood Ni Kari method (Parsi Style dehydrated Spiced Guava Curry method) by heating a pressure cooker with fat, temper the mustard seeds and asafoetida.Let the seeds splutter for some time.Later introduce the cut guava and shallow sauté them, introduce the remaining masala condiment and 1 cup of liquid.

Adjust seasoning and check for seasoning .wrap and let it make till the guava’s are soft.You can make the guava's in the pressure cooker for about 3 whistles.

Once done let the pressure release naturally.present your nectarous and well-seasoned Guava Ni Kari method (Parsi Style Spiced Guava Curry method) along with fiery lunch meal.
