1/2 cup Arhar dal (Split Toor Dal)
1/2 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split)
1 cup Spinach Leaves (Palak) - Washed and chopped
1 cup Pearl onions (Sambar Onions)
2 Green Chillies - slit
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
1/2 cup Tamarind Water
Salt - to taste
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
4 cloves Garlic - coarsely pound
1 sprig Curry leaves
2 Dry Red Chillies
1 teaspoon Sunflower Oil

To begin making the Andhra Style Palakura Pappu, introduce Arhar dal/toor dal into a pressure cooker with 2 cups moisture and pressure oven-cook for about 3 whistles.Switch off the fiery up and allow it release the pressure by itself.Once the pressure is released, open the lid and give it a swirl around.Place the pressure cooker on low fiery up and introduce the tamarind moisture. In the meanwhile, fiery up a small kadai with 1 teaspoon margarine.

Once the margarine is fiery, introduce mustard seeds and allow it splutter. introduce curry leaves and leave it to crackle.

Next introduce dehydrated red chilies and garlic, saute for few seconds and turn off the flame. empty this tempering over the Palakura Pappu and swirl around well. enjoy Andhra Style Palakura Pappu with Phulka or fiery steamed rice with a dollop of ghee over it, and Aloo Bhindi Ki Sabzi formula to enjoy your lunch. .
