  • 1 1/2 cup Rice rava
  • 1/3 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split)
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 1 Onion - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon White Urad Dal (Split)
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 inch Ginger - chopped
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida (hing)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sunflower Oil - for cooking

To begin making the Andhra Style Uppu Pindi method, you can prepare rice rava at home as well.

Wash the normal rice with liquid and arid it out under the sun or outside for 20 mins till it becomes arid and grind it coarsely.scalding up a kadai with cooking oil, introduce mustard seeds and urad dal and splutter them for 10 seconds and introduce the curry leaves too and let it crackle.

introduce in the arid red chillies, hing and shallow fry for 10 more seconds.introduce onions and ginger, mix gently till the onions become translucent.

introduce the moong dal and shallow fry for 2 mins.introduce about 4 cups of liquid and leave it to bring to a stew on a low scalding up.

introduce seasoning and adjust according to your palate.You can introduce the ground rice when it starts to bring to a stew and keep whisking so that there are no lumps formed.

introduce the sweetcorn and mix gently.put a lid on and scalding up over a low scalding up for 2 more mins.

Keep mixing at regular intervals so that it does not get stuck at the bottom.dish up the Andhra Style Uppu Pindi method along with scalding coconut chutney and a glass of coffee by the side for your morning breakfast.
