1 cup Jowar Seeds
1/2 cup Papads
1/3 cup Raw Peanuts (Moongphali)
2 sprig Curry leaves
3 Dry Red Chillies
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
Sunflower Oil - as needed
Salt - as required
Instructions

To begin making the Jowar Dhani Chivda, bring to temperature a large cooking vessel preferably iron kadai on medium flame.

introduce cooking oil andsalt to the kadhai.introduce a handful of good quality jowar seeds and wait till they absorb enough bring to temperature and once you see the seeds popping, start stirring it making sure they don’t scorch.You can avoid cooking oil and pop these on parched burning kadhai too.

Once all the jowar has popped, remove from kadai into a large dish.

Repeat the same for remaining jowar dhani.

Transfer into a dish and set aside. shallow fry plain and coloured papad in the cooking oil and keep them aside.introduce 1 teaspoon of cooking oil again into the kadai and char peanuts.

Remove from kadai and keep it aside.Into the same cooking vessel, introduce curry leaves and dried red chilies and when curry leaves start to splutter, turn off bring to temperature and introduce turmeric dusting masala condiment.

Immediately transfer this on top of the popped jowar dhani.Into the popped jowar dish introduce the papad broken into smaller pieces.

Now introduce the broken papads, roasted peanuts.

With your hands, carefully toss together them all together.If you like, you can also introduce some sev, roasted fried Bengal gram dal, khara boondi and even puffed rice.Let it cool down completely and then store it in an air tight container.dish up Jowar Dhani Chivda with burning Masala Chai to your guests.
