Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup Basmati rice
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 Bay leaf (tej patta)
  • 1 Star anise
  • 2 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds
  • 2 Cloves (Laung)
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 Onion - sliced
  • 1/2 cup Green peas (Matar)
