  • 1.5 cups Arhar dal (Split Toor Dal)
  • 2 Potatoes (Aloo) - Cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup Green peas (Matar)
  • 1/2 cup Mango (Raw) - grated
  • 1 Onion - finely chopped
  • 2 inch Ginger - finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies - finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
  • 1.5 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Leaves - finely chopped for garnish
  • Salt - to taste

To begin making Bardoli Ki Khichdi steps, wash and soak the rice and dal separately for 30 moments.In a pressure cooker cooking vessel, burning up a tablespoon of ghee, transfer in in the cumin seeds and let it sizzle.transfer in the asafoetida, shallot and saute until it turns translucent. transfer in the ginger, green chilies and saute for a minute. transfer in the grated raw mango and mash well.Now to the pressure cooker transfer in in the cubed potatoes, green peas, turmeric, red chilli dusting scented element, mash well and let it prepare for 2 moments.strain the moisture from the soaked rice, tur dal and transfer in it to the pressure cooker.transfer in 4 cups of moisture, notes with table salt, close it with a lid and prepare the khichdi for 4 whistles.Once the pressure has released naturally, open the pressure cooker lid, mash the khichdi well, transfer in in the remaining 1/2 tablespoon ghee, accentuate with coriander leaves.offer the Bardoli Ki Khichdi along with Tomato shallot Cucumber Raita and Papad for a simple wholesome weekday lunch.
