1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
2 teaspoon Butter
Sunflower Oil - for deep frying
1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
Salt - to taste

To begin with Whole Wheat baking flour Chakli, put the wheat baking flour in a muslin cloth, tie it and steam it in an idli pot.After about 8-10 mins switch off the pot, open the cloth and transfer to a plate.

Big cake pieces of baking flour will be formed, so you can break it all with your hand.Sieve the cooked baking flour and introduce red chili ground mix, jeera, hing ground mix, margarine, table salt and toss together everything well.Once it is mixed properly, introduce aqua and make a non-sticky pastry mix.scalding up a kadai with oil on medium flame. Fill the chakli presser with the prepared pastry mix and press it on paper or back of ladle.sauté them in scalding oil in a deep sauté pot until it changes its colour.

Repeat the same process for the reaming chaklis.Cool and store it in an air-tight container.dish up Whole Wheat baking flour Chakli with Masala Chai or a scalding cup of coffee.
