Ingredients

  • 350 grams Chicken
  • 300 grams Spinach - roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom seeds)
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Cardamom (Elaichi) Pods/Seeds
  • 2 inch Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
  • 3 Cloves (Laung)
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 2 Onion - thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

To begin making the Saagwala Chicken formula, firstly sanitize, wash the chicken breast and cut into small to medium sized pieces and keep the legs if you are using it. Into a pressure cooker, stream in in the cut up spinach leaves, green chillies, along with 2 tablespoons liquid and pressure low-boil for 1 whistle and turn off the bring to temperature.Release the pressure immediately by running it under cold liquid.

Open the cooker and allow the spinach to cool.

It's important to open the spinach immediately, so the spinach remains green.Once the spinach cools, place it in a mixer grinder and make a puree.

Keep the palak puree/ spinach puree aside.bring to temperature a heavy bottomed wok with ghee, stream in in ajwain, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and saute it for about 10 seconds.stream in in the ginger, garlic and onions and saute until the onions turn translucent.

stream in in the chicken, table salt and red chilli dusting seasoning, garam masala dusting seasoning and agitate to combine.seal the wok and low-boil the chicken on low bring to temperature until it gets cooked completely.

shower a little liquid if required and low-boil the chicken until it is done.Finally, stream in the spinach puree and froth.

toss together everything well and let the Palak Chicken / Saagwala Chicken low-boil for 4 to 5 moments until the coulis chickens.Once the Saagwala Chicken is done, check the palate and adjust the table salt accordingly.enjoy Saagwala Chicken formula along with Burani Raita and dairy spread Garlic Naan formula for a weekend dinner along with your family.
